Hayal Pozanti was born in Istanbul and lives and works in New York City. Her work relies on “Instant Paradise”: an invented alphabet used as a personally standardized encryption system. Embedded within her shapes are bundles of mined data relating to the impact of technology on human lives. Her solo show, Deep Learning, will open in November 2015 at the Aldrich Museum.
Jamian Juliano-Villani (b. 1987, Newark, NJ) is an artist who lives and works in Brooklyn. She received her BFA from Rutgers University in 2012. She has recently exhibited at Night Gallery in L.A., 247365 and Clearing Gallery in Brooklyn, as well as Rachel Uffner and Marlborough in NY. This February she will be presenting a solo show at MOCA Detroit.
